Provide students with dyslexia and other related learning difficulties with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.     Job Requirements

    • Education/Certification:
      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
      • Valid Texas teaching certificate
      • Certified PDAS Appraiser (Preferred)

      Special Knowledge/Skills:
      • Excellent teaching skills
      • Knowledge of assigned curriculum (grades K-12 TEKS), State assessment objectives, and best practices for instruction
      • Knowledge of Academic and/or Behavior Plan goal setting process and implementation
      • Demonstrated ability to manage student’s academic needs and behavior
      • Strong organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
      Experience:
      • Successful experience as a dyslexia designee preferred

    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required
