Job Description

Saint Paul American School of Nacel International School System is seeking applicants to fill vacancies in our Humanities department teaching Social Studies, English, or a combination of the two. English courses include ESL, General, and Honors English in grades 7-10, American Literature, World Literature, and AP Literature. Social Studies courses include Geography, World Government, American Government, American History, Honors and AP World History and Economics. A full-time teacher will teach 6 academic subject content classes (5 per day) and supervise an Activity class/club between the hours of 8am-4:15pm.

Saint Paul American School, Beijing is located on the international campus of No. 2 High School attached to Beijing Normal University. The facilities on campus are routinely maintained and upgraded throughout the year. Nacel International School System is affiliated with several private, college-preparatory high schools and K-12 schools, which educate students in an international setting to prepare students for study in the U.S. The mission of each school is to meet the needs of all students while preparing them for success within the global community and equipping them to become culturally literate by developing critical thinking and communication skills.

Those who are hired to fill these vacancies will be placed according to their strengths and the schedule will be modified accordingly. Each candidate must be fully credentialed, hold a Bachelor's degree, and potentially have a teaching certification from an American state. We host Professional Development opportunities weekly - the candidate must be progressive-minded and willing to work cooperatively in a diverse setting.
