Credit Recovery Coach at Rutland High School

Rutland High School is looking for highly-motivated individual to work part-time with high school students in a credit recovery program.
This position will involve working with students individually and/or in small groups. The coach will provide students with daily educational support in a variety of learning styles. This will include communicating with academic teachers over essential curricula to be mastered, tutoring students in academic subject areas; communicating with parents as members of a team, and monitoring the progress of students toward course mastery objectives.

Candidates must be able to work with a variety of learning styles and work with parents as partners, presenting themselves as a strong role model for adolescents. They must demonstrate management and supervision of students in accordance with school policies, philosophies and mission. Candidates should have a background in Math, Science, English, or Social Studies. Candidates must have experience working with high school students, strong teaching and communication skills, be proficient in computer use. Credit Recovery Coach Position will be scheduled for 13 hours per week, evenly spaced over a 5 day work week
