CONTRACT TERMS:  One Hundred Eighty-three Days (183)

                                   Salary Range:  $35,277 - $73,232
                                   PEA Agreement
                                   Status:  FLSA Exempt


Teacher Contract Salary Schedule plus additional work days required for Pre Advanced Placement and Visual and Performing Arts School
  • Sign On / Stay On Bonus
  • Extended Day/Extended Year Calendar additional pay
  • Professional Development pay for training
  • Pay for Performance

Qualifications

Required:
  • Valid Colorado Teaching License within 60 days from date of hire
  • Secondary Endorsement in Mathematics or Elementary Education or
  • Licensed and endorsed in another content area and highly qualified in Mathematics - we will accept 36 semester hours in Mathematics (must have some higher level Mathematics classes) and be willing to take and pass the PLACE or PRAXIS Exam in the Mathematics Content Area or
  • Eligible for a TiR or Alternative Licensing Program in Mathematics Content Area
  • Support the CORE Values and Teacher commitment
  • Belief that ALL students can achieve excellence 
Preferred:
  • Three to five years successful teaching experience at the secondary level (demonstrated by references and evaluations, and student growth)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Common Core standards
  • Ability to unpack standards and align with curriculum
  • Ability to write specific learning goals, objectives and outcomes
  • Ability to analyze and use multiple data sources to make sound instructional decisions
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in professional learning communities
  • Ability to use technology and incorporate/teach 21st century skills
  • Ability to scaffold and differentiate instruction
  • Ability and willingness to integrate reading, writing and math throughout the curriculum
  • Experience in a Title I setting
