Job Description

Position:
The Needham Public Schools seeks outstanding applicants for the position of Preschool Teaching Assistant for students with intensive needs and/or autism.

Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work in a substantially separate preschool classroom and have experience and/or interest in working with students with special needs.
 
Qualifications:
The candidate should have experience and/or interest in working with students between the ages of 3 and 5 with developmental delays.  Candidates will be trained in working with students using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach foundational skills.  The candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively on a team.
