Description: 
Full time guidance counselor position providing individual and group counseling to elementary school students.  Teach developmental guidance in classrooms.  Provide consultation to staff and parents regarding mental health and developmental needs. Long Term Substitute January 2018 to June 2018

Job Summary:  
Counselor works with a students who are struggling with emotional, developmental and social issues.  Provides individual and group counseling in school to regular and special education students. Counselor provides leadership in their school regarding Social Emotional Learning of students.  Counselor also teaches classes in area of Social Emotional Learning.   Provides ongoing consultation to school staff and parents.    

Qualifications: 
Master's in Social Work / Master's in Counseling Field.  Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license as a school social worker or guidance counselor required.
 
License:
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Commonwealth of Mass. license as a school social worker
