Job Description


- Responsible and accountable for providing a full range of school psychological services to children grades K- 12, including screening and assessment, individual and group counseling with students, interface with school staff, parents, and outside agencies as appropriate.

- Works closely with the Director of the school, the Academic Quality Controller, and as a member of a multidisciplinary team to determine a student’s eligibility for special education services, appropriate programming, and on-going progress.

- Ensures strict compliance with state and federal regulations and timely and efficient submission of all required records and reports.

- Makes sure the SABIS® philosophy, systems, policies and procedures are properly implemented and adhered to.

Recommended Qualifications:

- Minimum: Master's degree in School Psychology required
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a School Psychologist – all levels
- Leadership and team management skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational and self-management skills; Ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
- Goal orientation; Planning and execution skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Dependability; Readiness to go above and beyond when necessary to reach goals
