Job Description

• Maintain a library that provides the resources and practices required of the Massachusetts English/Language Arts Curriculum Frameworks
• Develop and maintain the school library, purchase of equipment and books, periodicals, reference resources, and maintain current literature lists for the students and teachers to access.
• Work in conjunction with the Technology Coordinator to meet the needs of the diverse special needs population.
• Work with the Curriculum Specialist to develop comprehensive novel units for classroom literature instruction.
• Offer resources, lessons and activities to classroom teachers to coincide with their classroom instruction.

    • The librarian should be certified as a Massachusetts Library Media Specialist-All Levels, with experience preferred.
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required
