Job Description

A successful candidate should be comfortable working as part of team and have strong oral and written communication skills. Appropriate DESE licensure in Moderate Special Needs is required and candidates should have previous experience working with middle school students. Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

• Evaluating students using a variety of assessments
• Writing reports
• Writing goals and IEPs
• Providing services in both inclusion and pull-out settings
• Working with students with a variety of disabilities
• Remediating weaknesses in reading, writing, and math
• Strong behavior management skills

The position posted is for a long-term substitute teaching position. We are looking for someone to work from the present through June 20th (last day of school).
