Job Description

• Provides monitoring and coordination of all finance personnel.
• In conjunction with the Executive Director, develops the annual budget, capital budget proposals and participates in
communicating financial information to the LABBB Board of Directors.
• Prepares annual reports in conjunction with the Executive Director.
• Prepares financial analyses, documents and reports of collaborative programs and operations.
• Works with the Executive Director to allocate the financial resources of the collaborative to support the attainment of established goals and objectives.
• Acts as a resource for the Executive Director and Board of Directors with matters of collective bargaining.
• Monitors collaborative compliance with all appropriate local, state and national regulations and requirements related to school finance.
• Supervises and coordinates all financial transactions consistent wit the collaborative financial policies.
• Monitors the payroll process in a manner consistent with the existing collective bargaining agreements and personnel policies established by the Board of Directors.
• Prepares Financial Reports as requested by Executive Director or Board of Directors.
• Implements Board of Director’s policies and administrative regulations.
• Prepares such reports, studies and conducts investigations as requested.
• Coordinates all purchasing in conjunction with the collaborative procurement policy.
• In conjunction with the Executive Director, negotiates general liability insurance, workman’s compensation, dental Insurance, long term disability, health insurance and any other contract items held by the collaborative.
• Works with Executive Director in monitoring Collaborative Transportation services.
• Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director.

    Job Requirements

    • Desired Qualifications:
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Creative, flexible, and innovative problem solver of complex issues.
      • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Business Administrator by the Massachusetts Department of Education preferred.
      • Master’s degree, from an accredited college or university, in Accounting or Finance preferred
      • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in financial management.
      • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Executive Director may find appropriate.
    • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
