REQUIREMENTS:

The successful applicant for this position must possess:

1. A Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university (Doctorate preferred)
2. Documented teaching experience for a minimum of five (5) years, High School preferred
3. Licensure by MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as Principal/Assistant Principal (9-12)
4. A minimum of five years successful administrative experience
5. Demonstrated administrative experience in an educational organization and ability to exercise strong consistent leadership in all facets of the operation of the high school
6. Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and work collegially with faculty and staff
7. Evidence of leadership as a teacher, academic leader, supervisor, and administrator that created a positive environment for continuous school improvement
8. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically rich group of teachers, administrators, parents, students and community members
9. Evidence of the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
10. Evidence of a strong record of working effectively with a diverse community
11. Demonstrated ability to clearly develop and execute short and long term goals to achieve the organizational mission and vision

EFFECTIVE DATE OF EMPLOYMENT July 1, 2017

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT As per contract

SALARY Regionally competitive salary, commensurate with experience
