ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVACANCY FOR THE
2022 SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

 

Summer School - Door Monitors (Multiple positions)
SOMERVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS

 

Program Goal: The summer program has a variety of programs to meet the diverse needs of students.  Flexible, collaborative, adaptive, team players should apply! 

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Attendance Record

Terms of Employment:

  • Seasonal/Yearly Employment
  • Location: District Wide
  • Stipend: $25 per hour worked / Up to 30 hours per week
  • Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days: Week of June 27

Responsibilities:

  • Screens visitors before allowing access to the school building
  • Operates desk/bell intercom to allow people to come in through the Main office with the summer secretary
  • Directs parents/guardians to specific rooms of academic and activity clubs in which their student participates
  • Other duties as assigned

Terms of Employment:

  • Seasonal/Yearly Employment
  • Location: TBD
  • Stipend: $15.46 per hour worked / Up to 30 hours per week
  • Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days: Week of June 27

Program Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday Schedule, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. some positions until 4:00 p.m.
  • Start Date:    July 6, 2022  
  • End Date:      August 5, 2022 

Reports to: OST Director & Director of Summer Programs
