Teacher Assistants work with special needs, adolescent males in a structured, residential program setting. Responsibilities include assisting teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEP) for special needs students in a classroom setting, classroom management, and crisis intervention, when necessary.

Earn up to $14.54 an hour to start, based on qualifications\experience. Stevens also offers a great benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 5 weeks of paid vacation leave annually, paid sick leave, paid holidays, life and disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.

    Job Requirements

    • Qualifications include Bachelor degree, and experience working with special needs populations. Criminal records screening, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record required.
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
