Job Description

Latham Centers compassionately and creatively helps children and adults with complex special needs, including Prader-Willi Syndrome, to lead meaningful, abundant lives.

Promote a physically safe and emotionally healthy environment while supervising students during evening residential activities and overnight sleeping hours. High School degree or GED required. One-year human service experience preferred. Must exhibit ambulatory ability sufficient to physically intervene in instances of extreme behavior that might jeopardize the safety of students and staff. Valid Driver’s License required. $15.00 per hour $2.00/hour differential for scheduled awake hours on an overnight shift

39.5 hours - Sat 9p-9a, Sun 7p-9a, Tues 7p-8:30a (Saturday is awake with $1.00 differential)

    Job Requirements

    • The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, sufficient ambulatory ability to physically intervene in instances of extreme behavior that might jeopardize the safety of clients and staff, and a valid driver's license. One year of human service experience preferred. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position.
