Job Description

The Learning Community, a public charter school in Central Falls, Rhode Island is seeking a Per Diem Administrative Assistant or Customer Service Representative to be part of a dynamic, creative, leadership team representing a progressive and tight-knit whole school community.

The Per Diem Administrative Assistant will assist the school’s administrators and main office by supporting school and family events, preparing for meetings, and various other administrative tasks.

The hourly range for this position is $13-$15/hour – depending on experience

Candidate must have:
• a welcoming, engaging, customer service attitude
• excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish (requirement)
• excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
• ability to work independently and manage projects from beginning to end
• ability to handle multiple assignments
• ability to work well under pressure
• flexibility and a willingness to learn
• excellent editing and writing skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office software
• minimum of 2-5 years’ work experience
• college degree or equivalent experience
• Bilingual skills are a priority
