Jim has been in the education field 27 years as a teacher, principal and superintendent. He has managed school districts with multi-million dollar budgets. As a school administrator he was considered a leader and entrepreneur, especially in the area of technology. As principal of Champlain Valley Union High School, Jim pioneered the first distance-learning program in the Northeast.

Since 1990, doing business as Fitzpatrick Associates, Jim has provided in-service and keynotes to educators around the world on issues involving responsibility, organizational climate, school culture and positive discipline. He is a member of various national educational groups and has traveled to over 25 countries and 40 states for his work. He holds a Masters Degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in Administration and Planning from UVM and a Bachelors Degree in History and Geography from Kent State University.

Clark began his career at General Electric developing and leading web applications projects for e-commerce, supplier extranets and document management. Clark was project leader for the development of a proprietary careers website, including online résumé creation, job search, and an internal job posting and application management system. Prior to cofounding SchoolSpring, Clark helped found Forepoint, providing data services to Internet merchants, including several Fortune 1000 companies. Clark graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University with a degree in Information Management and Technology.

Suzanne has been working with school organizations for the past 10 years in a number of roles including sales, customer support and training. Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. Most recently, Suzanne was an Account Executive for Blackboard Connect/Alertnow. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering at the local MSPCA animal shelter, antiquing and spending time with her family and dogs. Suzanne lives in Northern MA with her husband, Matt, son and two dogs.

Lisa has a varied background in the fields of human resources, education, healthcare, and sales. After graduating with a degree in Psychology from the University of Hartford, Lisa began her career as a Human Resources Generalist for Quest Diagnostics. Lisa's experience in the classroom includes teaching computer enrichment classes to preschoolers and engineering enrichment classes to school aged children with Computertots, Inc. Most recently, Lisa sold online advertising for the pregnancy and parenting websites BabyZone and ParentZone, before coming to SchoolSpring in 2007. In her spare time Lisa enjoys volunteering and playing flute in various local concert bands. Lisa and her husband Marc live on the North Shore of Massachusetts and have two children, a son and a daughter, both attending college.

Skip's 26-year career in education includes serving as a high school mathematics teacher, a high school principal and a district superintendent. Being a principal and superintendent has given him extensive experience in recruiting and hiring school personnel. Upon retirement from public service in 2008, Skip joined Blackboard/Alertnow as a regional sales executive for the southern region. Skip joined the SchoolSpring team in March 2013, and works with customers in the southeast. Skip holds a bachelors and masters degree from Mississippi State University. He and his wife, Ruth, make their home near Brandon, Mississippi. In his spare time, Skip is an avid wood turner - specializing in handmade pens from various species of wood, deer antler, corn cobs, and pine cones.

Julie has a diverse background in education, human resources, corporate training, and sales. Julie started her career as a classroom teacher and taught elementary education for 11 years. She also worked as the executive administrative Assistant to the Superintendent and Human Resources. She is also a former business owner and manager of a women's health club where she led all sales, marketing, and training operations. Julie is a certified nutritional health counselor and has delivered dozens of training seminars at various corporations and educational institutions. She holds a Masters degree in education from Lesley University and received her nutrition training certification from Columbia University Teachers College. Julie serves on the principal's council for her daughter's middle school and volunteers as team manager for the sports in which her children participate. She lives in northern Massachusetts with her husband Rich, and two children.

Bryanne has been working in the educational software field since 2008. She focuses on the customer experience and furthering the ability of both public and private schools to simplify their daily operations, so as to provide a better student experience. Most recently, she worked at Blackboard Connect, Inc, building relationships with large districts on the east coast. Bryanne holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire. She spends her spare time traveling, running half marathons, and volunteering with the United Way and Zoo New England. She lives in Manchester, New Hampshire, with her husband.

SchoolSpring's philosophy of providing live support and immediate information is represented by Christine, our first response Customer Service person. Her commitment to customer service at SchoolSpring has developed her ability to patiently listen, understand and find solutions. Christine lives in Burlington, Vermont and in her spare time Christine enjoys oil painting and spending time outdoors hiking, biking and kayaking.

Mary Beth has worked in Vermont public school offices for many years and is familiar with both school and district processes from a variety of angles. She is also no stranger to the classroom having been both a school aide and substitute teacher. In the private sector, Mary Beth worked for a start-up bio-tech company in the Boston area as Human Resources Administrator and Payroll Officer. Mary Beth is a graduate of New Hampshire College with a degree in Business Management.

Derrek started his technical career as a programming consultant for web applications. He spent ten years working with clients on enterprise web applications from cargo tracking to medical reporting tools. During this time he also cofounded All of Zero, a web and iPhone application development firm focusing on problem solving using leading edge technology. In 2004 he joined SchoolSpring to help improve the next generation of job management tools for educators. He went to college at the young age of sixteen and graduated with a B.A. at twenty from Simon's Rock College. His passion is applying technology to improve quality of life.

Tim has been developing web applications since 1998. Tim started his career with the Secretary of State of Iowa and has worn many hats since. He continues to develop his skills to keep up with changing technologies and prides himself on being a computer age jack of all trades. He currently lives in Burlington, Vermont and loves being a part of the SchooSpring team.
