Enabling Cookies

  1. From the "Tools" menu item near the top right of the browser, select "Internet Options..."
  2. In the pop-up window, click the "Privacy" tab.
  3. Move the slide bar to "Medium High" or anything lower.
  4. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Alternate method for MSIE 7.x or higher:
  1. From the "Tools" menu item, select "Internet Options..."
  2. In the pop-up window, click the "Privacy" tab.
  3. Click the "Sites" button in the middle right of the pop-up window.
  4. Type "www.schoolspring.com" in the "Address of website:" field and click the "Allow" button.
  5. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
  6. Again, Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the next pop-up window.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x
  1. From the "Tools" menu item at the top of the browser, select "Internet Options..."
  2. In the pop-up window, click the "Privacy" tab.

  6. Again, Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the next pop-up window.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x or 5.x (Mac)
  1. From the "Edit" menu item at the top of the browser, select "Preferences."
  2. In the preferences window, click on "Receiving Files" settings.
  3. Under the Receiving Files settings, click on "Cookies."
  4. On the right side of the window, you will see the phrase: "When receiving cookies:" In the pull-down menu, select "Never Ask" or "Ask for each site."
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x (Windows)
  1. From the "View" menu item at the top of the browser, select "Internet Options..."
  2. Click the "Advanced" tab, and then click "Always Accept Cookies."
  3. Click OK until you return to Internet Explorer.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x (Windows)
  1. From the "Tools" menu item at the top of the browser, select "Internet Options..."
  2. Click the "Security" tab, and then click "Custom Level". Click "Enable" under "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer."
  3. Click OK until you return to Internet Explorer.
AOL 9.x
  1. Click the "Settings" button at the top of the AOL window.
  2. In the "AOL Settings" window, click "Internet Properties."
  3. In the pop-up window, click the "Privacy" tab.
  4. Move the slide bar to "Medium" or anything lower.
  5. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the pop-up menu.
Alternate method for AOL 9.x:
  1. Click the "Settings" button at the top of the AOL window.
  2. In the "AOL Settings" window, click "Internet Properties."
  3. In the pop-up window, click the "Privacy" tab.
  4. Click the "Edit..." button in the lower-right of the pop-up menu.
  5. Type "www.schoolspring.com" in the "Address of Web site:" field and click the "Allow" button.
  6. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the pop-up menu.
  7. Again, Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the next pop-up menu.
Netscape Communicator 7.x
  1. From the "Edit" menu item at the top of the browser, select "Preferences."
  2. In the pop-up window, click the "Privacy" tab.
  3. Expand the "Privacy & Security" option.
  4. Click on the "Cookies" item.
  5. Check the box labeled "Enable all cookies" or "Enable cookies for the originating website only."
  6. Click the "OK" button in the lower-right of the pop-up window.
Netscape Communicator 6.x
  1. From the "Edit" menu item at the top of the browser, select "Preferences."
  2. In the "Preferences" window, select "Privacy and Security" and then "Cookies".
  3. Select "Accept All Cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server".
  4. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Netscape Communicator 4.x
  1. From the "Edit" menu item at the top of the browser, select "Preferences."
  2. In the "Preferences" window, click on the "Advanced" category.
  3. Select "Accept All Cookies."
  4. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Mozilla Firefox 3.5
  1. Click on "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Options..." from the drop-down menu.
  2. In the "Options" window, click on "Privacy" at the top.
  3. If not already selected, select either "Remember History" or "Use custom settings for history" from the drop-down at the top of the window.
  4. If you choose to use custom settings, next check the box next to "Accept cookies from sites" in the middle of the window.
  5. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Mozilla Firefox 2.0 to 3.4
  1. Click on "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Options..." from the drop-down menu.
  2. In the "Options" window, click on "Privacy" at the top.
  3. Check the box next to "Accept cookies from sites" in the middle of the window.

  1. Click on "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Options..." from the drop-down menu.
  2. In the "Options" window, click on "Privacy" at the top (padlock image).
  3. Click the "Cookies" tab in the middle-right section of the window.
  4. Check the box next to "Allow sites to set Cookies."
  5. If you wish, you may also check the box next to "for the originating site only."
  6. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Mozilla Firefox 1.0
  1. Click on "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Options..." from the drop-down menu.
  2. In the "Options" window, click on "Privacy" on the left.
  3. Click the plus (+) sign next to "Cookies" to expand the selection.
  4. Check the box next to "Enable cookies."
  5. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
Safari Version 1.2.4
  1. From the "Safari" menu item at the top of the browser, select "Preferences."
  2. In the pop-up window, click the "Security" tab.
  3. Make sure that "Enable Javascript" is checked.
  4. Accepting Cookies: Please make sure that you either choose "Only from sites you navigate to" or "Always" in the cookies section.
