Welcome to Longmeadow Public School District!

As a suburban community of 9 square miles with a rich, historic, New England heritage, Longmeadow offers a beautiful and wholesome residential setting along the Connecticut River for a population of approximately 16,000 people. The community is a pleasant, old New England town characterized by stately colonial homes, tree-shaded streets, and parks with swimming pools, tennis courts, and playgrounds. Settled in 1644, Longmeadow has many historically designated houses, interspersed with attractive newer ones on spacious lots. It is an ideal place to raise a family.
