| Red House Run Elementary School, a National Blue Ribbon School, upholds the Superintendent’s Blueprint for Progress by providing a comprehensive educational program for all students, while also serving as a special education outreach cluster school. Each and every student, including those receiving special education services, receives a rigorous instructional program that guarantees instruction on or above grade level content standards. An historically committed staff is particularly instrumental in ensuring the academic and social success of students within the school community; it is their perseverance that ensures achievement. Instruction is specifically tailored to the needs of students. To enhance the curriculum and to provide additional learning time for the strategic and timely implementation of Maryland Content Standards, every member of the school organization participates in innovative initiatives both during and after regular school hours, designed to support academic growth and a love of learning.
