Carroll Manor Elementary School is located in the Central Area of Baltimore County and the home sites are predominately single-family dwellings. Carroll Manor was recognized as a 2003 Maryland Blue Ribbon School and a 2004 National NCLB Blue Ribbon School. The academic program provides instruction for students in kindergarten through grade five. The average class size is around twenty-two students with the total enrollment of 330.
Enrichment activities and cultural programs are provided for all students at Carroll Manor. Those who are identified as academically gifted are involved in additional challenging opportunities.
Students have many opportunities to participate in numerous programs such as Writer’s Workshop, Challenge 24 Club, Sacks of Science Program, Spelling Aces Program, Chess Club, Computer Club, Book Club,and Ecology Club.
Carroll Manor has a most active, involved, and productive PTA. Parents are a critical part of Carroll Manor’s program, serving in a variety of capacities.
