SCHOOL NURSES
School Year 2013-2014
Part-time (32.5 hours per week)

Montgomery County Public Schools is accepting applications on an on-going basis for School Nurse positions that may become available within our division. The school nurse will assist the School Health Coordinator in the organization, administration, and implementation of school health services and will function as a contributing member of the school health team.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of the educational and training requirements for certification as a registered nurse
• Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Virginia
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current certification in CPR
• Dependability and punctuality required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• One year of recent nursing experience
• Previous experience in public health or general nursing; preferably in school nursing or community health nursing with children

SALARY: $23.18 per hours; contract not to exceed 200 days for the 2013-2014 school year
