Under the supervision of the Academy Director, leads and maintains the overall instructional program of the charter school. He/she ensures the effective implementation of the functions of the curriculum and instruction component which includes curriculum alignment with the TEKS, insuring students achieve NCLB performance standards, student and teacher scheduling, oversight of graduation plans, benchmarking, assistance in development of school budget, assistance in developing campus improvement plans, preparation of students for TAKS testing and test administration, supervision and staff development responsibilities. He/she also helps ensure that that the high school meets the terms, conditions and assurances stipulated in the application for charter school, as awarded by the State Board of Education (SBOE), and administered by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Bachelors degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required |
