Our Westford School is searching for middle school boys (6/7/8 grade team) soccer coach for their fall 2010 season. We are looking for committed individuals who will be able to coach soccer in a competitive and sportsman-like manner. A minimum of two years of varsity level soccer playing experience (or equivalent) required. Experience working with middle school students preferred. Positions pay $1,359 for the season.
All coaches must be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate at the commencement of the sport season for which the person has been appointed to coach. Candidates must also meet the certification and training requirements of the VPA, which requires certification in Sports First Aid and Fundamentals in Coaching within one year of hire. Acceptable certifications include ASEP (American Sport Education Program) certification or NFHS (National Federation of High Schools).
