DESCRIPTION: Two positions are available--one for 21 hours/wk and one for 32.5 hrs/week.
The 21 hrs/wk position is for working with a special needs child in a community preschool setting. Will support this child in the activities of the program and work on carrying out the instructional activities developed by the special educator and speech pathologist.
The 32.5 hrs/wk position is for working with a special needs child in our Essential Early Education program in one-to-one, small group, and large group settings. Responsibilities include supporting child in the activities of the classroom as well as working on instructional activities developed by the special educator and speech pathologist.
For both positions, experience in early childhood is preferred but not mandatory. Training is provided by the program.
QUALIFICATIONS: Adequate training and/or academic preparation required. Applicants must have two years of college education or must pass an on-line examination offered by the school district.
Single health insurance is available after 45 working days for the person working 32.5 hrs/week.
