Lake Placid is seeking a dynamic leader, with the qualities necessary to meet the challenges of the future, both immediate and long range. The successful candidate will have ability and skill in:
- Evaluating, leading and delivering challenging instructional programs focused on student achievement.
- Involving the staff and the community in the mission and vision of the school district.
- Promoting, leading and evaluating the professional growth of the staff.
- Demonstrating recent successful experience as a school administrator.
- Collaborating and consensus building.
- Being visible in schools and in the community.
- Creating a positive and supportive school and community climate.
Candidates should have a master’s degree, be eligible for or hold a current New York School District Administrator Certificate and administrative experience at the building and/or district office level.
Lake Placid Central School offers a compensation and benefit package that is extremely competitive. Beginning date of employment July 1, 2010.
