MCAS Tutor
2009-2010 School Year
Part Time Position
Math (1)

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with major or minor in subject area preferred
MA Certification preferred

Terms of Employment:
2009-2010 School Year
Schedule falls during school day hours; before or after school hours may be required
Schedule determined by student need

Job Goal:
To tutor students in Math to prepare them for a successful outcome to the MCAS test

Performance Responsibilities:
1.Plans and administers the instructional program for students
referred for MCAS prep tutoring
2.Adapts instructions and materials as necessary to meet students’ needs
3.Assigns independent learning activities to students as appropriate
4.Assesses student accomplishment on a regular basis
5.Confers with staff as requested
6.Other related duties
