SAU #58 is located in the heart of the Great North Woods in northern New Hampshire. The school administrative unit is comprised of three separate school districts, each governed by its own school board. The SAU Executive Board has 11 members; all the members of the individual boards.
Northumberland is the largest of the three districts and has two schools - Groveton Elementary and Groveton High. Groveton Elementary is a K-6 building with approximately 200 students; Groveton High is a 7-12 building with approximately 265 students. Groveton has a strong academic and athletic reputation and is widely recognized as an innovator in technology use.
Stark is the smallest of the three districts. Located on the common in picturesque Stark Village, the school has the Ammonoosuc River to the back and the Stark Covered Bridge and Stark Village Church to its side. This K-6 school has a student population of approximately 30 students.
Stratford Public School is one of three K-12 facilities in the state of New Hampshire. The overall student population is approximately 170, which ensures small class sizes and an ideal student-to-teacher ratio. The community is extremely supportive of the school and its programs. The school is known for its commitment to students and its willingness to provide a quality education with limited resources. Learn more about us... |
