Thank you for your interest in serving as a substitute in the Lunenburg Public Schools. Our administrative team strives to maintain a substitute pool of dedicated individuals; therefore, we invite you complete an online application. In order to reduce paper consumption LPS only accepts applications processed through SchoolSpring. While applicants with post-high school degrees are preferred, post-high school degrees are not required for per diem substitute assignments.
The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act mandates that schools conduct Criminal Offense Record Information (CORI) checks on all persons who have contact with students including substitutes. CORI forms are available on the Office of School Personnel Services web page (www.lunenburgonline.com/education/dept/dept.php?sectiondetailid=2058). They also are available in each of our school offices as well as in the Office of the Superintendent and Office of School Personnel Services. CORI forms, along with a government-issued photo identification, must be returned in person to one of the school officials listed below. Placement on the substitute list is subject to receipt of a satisfactory CORI report.
